Organic fertilizer is a form of plant food rich in nutrients and has no artificial additives. It contains essential micronutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. These nutrients help plants grow in healthy, vibrant green leaves and flowers and produce fruit and vegetables full of flavor.
Organic fertilizers are often derived from animal manure or composted plant materials. It can be mixed with water or seed-starting to provide the nutrients your plants need to thrive.

Mary’s alpaca poop for the garden

Alpaca poop is rich in nitrogen and phosphorus, and the two main nutrients plants need to grow. A typical yard will only get a small amount of these nutrients from rain and other natural sources, so it’s important to add them to your soil by adding alpaca poop when you plant vegetables or flowers.

Alpacas also have bacteria in their manure, which is great for the soil because it helps break down dead vegetation and makes it easier for new plants to grow. But Mary’s Alpaca poop for the garden also has other benefits that make it better than regular compost or manure.

Poop & Scoop.

Our 162 alpacas create community manure piles in the paddocks and fields where they live. We gather up the bean-like poop, being careful not to collect straw, hay, small stones, or other field debris.

Bake & cure.

The manure is composted for a few days, then cured for up to five months to kill anything harmful and allow beneficial microorganisms to thrive. The resulting product is a stable soil conditioner that meets EPA criteria for Class A compost.

Grind & pak.

We pulverize the composted poop for increased suspension & solubility. Adding mycorrhizal fungi and yucca helps the roots, reduces plant stress, and improves nutrient efficiency. The organic product is packaged in water-soluble pouches called Poop+ Pods.

"My Motto: Nothing Balances Nutrition like Nature"

"I use Mary's Alpaca Poop at home. I never expected such results from one product. ….”

You can't thrive on power bars and plants can't thrive on chemical fertilizers. Mary's Alpaca Poop+ is rich in organics and micro nutrients for a completely balanced meal that is immediately absorbed.

...I find it a bother to mix liquid fertilizers, equally a pain to 'rough' up the soil before adding dry fertilizer which is often lost to the air if not immediately worked into the soil, ending up as air pollution inside your home.  Dropping a Pod into a watering can, allowing it to dissolve and giving it a good stir  takes only minutes and feeding and watering at the same time is really easy.

It's especially rewarding to watch my plants respond to their weekly diet of Mary's Poop+...they love it and it shows!"
